The Culham Fusion Centre, located in Abingdon, is the UK’s national fusion laboratory. Working with research partners and industry around the globe to realise the enormous potential of fusion for generating low-carbon electricity:
BMS. 8 Motor Control Panels monitoring and controlling:
-LTHW Plant: Boilers, Buffer Vessels, Calorifiers, Pumps
-CHW Plant: Chillers, Pumps
-Ventilation plant: AHUs, Fans, Nuclear extract system dealing with Tritium, VAV & CAV cascade pressure regimes for labs
-Cold Water Plant, Grey Water Plant
-Floor Controls: FCU’s, Free cooling
-Trade waste tank system dealing with Tritium rich waste water
EMS. Fully integrated Energy Monitoring System stored in an Open Metering System format:
-30 CHW, DHW, LTHW meters
-40 Domestic meters
-180 Electrical meters site wide
